Outdoors and in sunny windows the Solar Spinner creates a dazzling colorful motion brightening rooms and gardens. Licensed exclusively to Kikkerland Design New york, NY inventor David Jost combines solar cell technology, high-tech holographic materials and simple physics to create a whirling centrifugal display. The self starting device creates a sparkling color “bubble” from pure sunlight. The Solar Spinner is "green". It does not require batteries or plug. On top of the Solar Spinner a solar cell converts sunlight to electricity powering a small DC motor within it’s a flashy chrome housing. The spinning parts, highly refractive holgraphic film strips “inflate “ via the centrifugal force of the spinning motor. The combination of holographic materials and kinetic motion results in a unique and novel new age toy.
